Letha and Rebecca bring unmatched passion, expertise, and perspective to our Board and we are looking forward to creating social change with them in the years to come. A self-described entrepreneur since the third grade, Letha Pugh was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. She has lived in Columbus, Ohio since 2001 and has owned multiple small businesses, including a healthcare consulting firm, a home healthcare agency and most recently, co-founded Bake Me Happy in 2013, a gluten free wholesale bakery and coffee shop. Balancing her small business interests with community involvement is a passion for Letha. She served on the board of Stonewall Columbus and as President for one year. She is also the co-founding member of Black, Out and Proud (BOP) and Service, a relief effort for hospitality workers displaced from employment at the onset of COVID-19.
Rebecca Wiggins is the Executive Director of the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education® (AFCPE®), a national nonprofit membership and certification association for personal finance professionals. Rebecca is a passionate advocate for issues of economic security and strives to create a more equitable and inclusive society for all people. She is deeply committed to AFCPE’s mission and vision to ensure that all people, regardless of income level or background, have access to the highest standards of financial counseling, coaching, and education. Rebecca carries this passion for equity and justice to community involvement, serving on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee for The Women’s Fund of Central Ohio, and as Vice President on the Board of CGWE (CG Women’s Empowerment) focused on building capacity for women in Ethiopia.
