In September 2009, The Women’s Fund of Central Ohio in partnership with The Columbus Foundation, hosted author Fara Warner who spent four years studying the extraordinary economic power of women and how it is transforming business and society in the U.S. for her book, “The Power of the Purse: How Smart Companies Are adapting to the World’s Most Important Consumers—Women.” She turned her attention to the global economic power of women and the role we as American women play in growing and strengthening the world’s economy. Fara Warner guided an inspirational and insightful discussion of how to use the power in your purse to change the world.
