TYPES OF DONATIONS:
Individual Gifts: Individual donors provide a majority of the support for The Women’s Fund of Central Ohio. From $2 to $2 million, our donors stand side-by-side.
Group Gifts: Helen Keller once said, “Alone we can do so little. Together we can do so much.” This is the spirit of a group gift – a unique way for a small group of people to have the large philanthropic impact on the lives of women and girls in our community. There truly is strength in numbers.
Pledges: Pledges or promises of support can be made in any amount and may be paid through a singe contribution or in multiple payments – monthly, quarterly, or yearly. Annual pledge payments are due at the end of each fiscal year (June 30).
Tribute Gifts: The Women’s Fund of Central Ohio believes in honoring the women and the milestones that have impacted our lives. You may make a tribute gift in honor of a special person, day or event in your life. Any gift to The Women’s Fund may be made in honor or in memory of someone special.
Gifts to Endowment: Donors interested in securing future funding for women and girls may earmark their gifts directly to our Endowment. Contributions also may be made to the following named funds in our Endowment.

Gifts of Stock: By contributing appreciated securities that have been held for more than one year, you receive a tax deduction equal to the stock’s full fair market value while avoiding capital gains taxes on the appreciated portion of the stock. Oftentimes, donating stock allows for making a larger gift than might otherwise be possible.
Want to donate appreciated stock or a mutual fund? It’s easy.
1. Contact your financial advisor or brokerage firm and tell them what you would like to donate. Your firm may want your request in writing.

3. Contact The Women’s Fund and tell them the good news of your donation. A letter confirming receipt of the donation will be mailed to you. Save the letter for tax purposes.
