We have a truly democratic, inclusive, and accountable process for choosing our grant partners.  In short, we rely on you.

Grant Readers receive training from us, then review grant proposals and attend a review meeting where they meet in small groups to rate each proposal. 

The recommendations of the Grant Readers ultimately inform our Board Selection Committee so they can choose the programs that promise the most impactful, measurable social change for women and girls in central Ohio.

Every year we invite women and girls of all ages to help us with this process.  We get wonderful feedback from our Grant Readers about how much they enjoy having a say in the programming we fund.  We also incorporate Grant Reader feedback after each session to ensure everyone’s voice is heard.
