The Women’s Fund’s grantmaking philosophy is to effect social change by funding efforts that address the roots of a social problem and/or explore new approaches to solving an issue. By funding efforts that go beyond providing direct service, The Women’s Fund strives to help foster lasting social and economic change in our community.

Fall 2008
The Women’s Fund of Central Ohio will have a new grant application for FALL 2008. These changes are significant. The new UPDATED grant application posted here will be in effect for the Fall 2008 grantmaking cycle. Due to the change in the application, The Women’s Fund will offer technical assistance to applicants if the application is turned in by Wednesday, August 20. During the week before the final deadline of August 27, we can offer assistance and feedback to help develop a compelling application. The Women’s Fund will not offer any opportunity to change or add additional information to an application after the final deadline of August 27, 2008.

To help applicants develop quality proposals for our grantmaking process, The Women's Fund begins each grant cycle with workshops to provide community members with an opportunity to learn about The Women’s Fund’s social change grantmaking, The Women’s Fund priorities and our new UPDATED application. Even if you have participated in a workshop prior to the Fall 2008 grant cycle, we cannot emphasis enough the advantage to attending the new workshop!

The Fall 2008 workshops will be held between June 16 – July 18, 2008. Click to find out more about our Grant Workshops.
